Privacy Policy
Contractor Dispatch is a maintenance-dispatch service operated by Contractor Dispatch, Healdsburg, California ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the service — by text message, email, phone, or the web — and what we do with it.
Your mobile number and text-message consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
What we collect
When you report a problem or sign up for text updates we collect your name, mobile number, and email address (whichever you give us); the address or property the request is about; what you tell us about the problem, including any photos you send; and how you'd like to be reached. For contractors, we keep the company's contact card: people, roles, numbers, email addresses, trades, and service area. We also keep a record of the messages sent and received on each request so we can show you what happened.
How we use it
To handle your maintenance request: to ask you clarifying questions, to send the request to a contractor, to tell you who it went to and when they're coming, and to keep you and the property owner updated until the work is done. Contractors see the request details they need to do the job — the property address, the problem, access notes you provide, and a way to reach you. We do not use your information for advertising.
Text messages
If you opt in to text updates, we text you about requests you report. Message frequency varies — typically 2 to 10 texts per maintenance request, and none when you have no open request. Who we share it with
Only the people and services needed to handle your request: the contractor assigned to the job; the property owner or manager the request belongs to; and the service providers that carry our messages and run our systems (a telephony carrier for texts and calls, an email delivery provider, a hosting provider, and an AI provider that helps our dispatcher understand and write messages). Each of these processes information on our behalf, under contract, and may not use it for anything else. We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
Request records and their messages are kept as part of the property's maintenance history so that future work has the benefit of what was done before. You can ask us to delete your contact details at any time (see below); we will keep only what a completed work record requires.
Your choices
You can update your name, number, email, and how you want to be reached from the link we text you, or by asking us. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email a3harris@gmail.com or call (707) 385-5406.
Security
Information is stored on access-controlled servers over encrypted connections. Links we text you are signed and expire, and no password is stored for tenants or contractors.
Children
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at dispatch.mothershipart.com/privacy, with the effective date at the top.
